Product Description

High-purity ZnSe prepared using Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) technology serves as the core optical material for high-power CO2 lasers (with extremely low absorption at 10.6 μm), FLIR infrared thermal imaging, spectral analysis, and temperature measurement equipment. It exhibits strong chemical inertness, non-hygroscopicity, thermal shock resistance, and ease of precision machining. Customizable shapes include circular, rectangular, prismatic, dome, and laser lens blanks.

  • Transmittance Band: 0.5-22 μm (with a 10% transmittance limit for a 6 mm thickness), covering the visible to far-infrared spectrum.
  • Refractive Index Uniformity: < 3 ppm @ 633 nm.
  • Bulk Absorption Coefficient at 10.6 μm: 5.0×10-4 cm-¹.
  • Refractive Index at 10.6 μm: 2.4028; dn/dT = 6.1× 10-5 K-¹.
  • Laser-Induced Damage Threshold (at 10.6 μm, 15 μs single pulse): 20 J/cm² damage-free under normal incidence, failure at 25 J/cm².
